Balaji starts shooting film with Jayaram's son

Director Balaji Tharaneetharan, who shot to fame with Naduvulla Konjam Pakkatha Kanom, has begun work on his next film featuring Kalidas Jayaram (son of veteran Malayalam star Jayaram), and Megha Akash, in the lead. Says Balaji, 'Unlike my earlier film, Oru Pakka Kadhai will not be based on a real-life incident. It is not a comedy either. This will be a family story.An idea that struck me while working on the script of another film is what has now been developed into the plot of this film."
The film, shooting for which began in Mandaveli in Chennai on Wednesday, is expected to be completed by the end of April. Says Balaji, 'We are looking to complete the film by summer 2015.'
